Practice Without Equipment?
Guided Visualization
We often think that practicing a procedure requires physical models upon which to perform that procedure, but that is not entirely true. While regular training with realistic, high-fidelity models is ideal, it’s not always feasible. Visualization is a proven training method that positively impacts your muscle memory.

We created this audio tool for our hands-on self-guided stations, but it’s also great for guided visualization practice. Go ahead and close your eyes, listen to this audio, and then imagine yourself walking through the steps of the FONA procedure. Then, see if it doesn’t help you in your hands-on practice!
